• Conditions for Temporary Winter Camping Permit.
• 1. The applicant must be an Omani national.
• 2. The purpose of the permit must be solely for temporary winter camping.
• 3. Citizens have the right to apply for one or more sites for camping in the Wilaya of , in the place , with an area of , specifying the location and coordinates of the designated camping site.
• 4. A fee of (200 baiza) per square meter must be paid monthly after determining the camping area, along with a refundable deposit of (150 Omani Rials) upon clearing and cleaning the site of waste.
• 5. The distance between the main road and the camping area must be no less than (200 meters).
• 6. The camping area must be at least 2400 square meters, and the distance between camps must not be less than 10 meters.
• 7. The temporary winter camping period is from the beginning of October until the end of March, and the site must be cleared and cleaned before the end of this period.
• 8. Upon approval of the application and payment of the required fees for this purpose, the camping site will be handed over by the municipality department in the Wilaya.
• 9. The area specified in the camp permit must be adhered to, ensuring site cleanliness, safety requirements, and any instructions or requirements issued by the municipality throughout the camping period.
• 10. If a fence is used around the site, it must be made of temporary materials and must not obstruct visibility.
• 11. The issued permit number must be affixed to a panel on the front of the caravan, tent, or seating area. The permit holder is not allowed to transfer the permit to others or engage in activities at a location other than the specified site without the approval of the municipality department.
• 12. Waste must be disposed of in designated areas.
• 13. It is permitted to use caravans at the campsite for portable toilet facilities, provided they meet health, technical, and public safety requirements.
• 14. Caravans are allowed on the camping site for the purpose of portable toilets, provided that health, technical, and public safety requirements are met.
• 15. Avoid using generators that cause disturbances to site visitors, and adhere to soundproof and low carbon emission generators.
• 16. If the site is not cleared and cleaned after the expiration of the specified licensing period, the municipality will remove the obstructions at the expense of the licensee.
• 17. An administrative fine of (50) Omani rials will be imposed for failing to comply with any of the camping rules or regulations. In case of repetition, the license will be revoked, the security deposit will be confiscated in favor of the municipality, and the obstructions will be removed.
• 18. An administrative fine of (200) Omani rials will be imposed for camping without obtaining the necessary license, along with a requirement to correct the situation or remove the setup.
• 19. Ensure compliance with the regulations, laws, and public morals in force in the Sultanate of Oman.
